Where's the best place to wash my dog? That's up to you. But it depends in part on how big your dog is. Our universal fittings make it easy for you to wash your dog in your backyard or even in your kitchen sink, bath-tub, or shower stall.
How often should I wash my dog? That depends on how dirty he gets! And on his breed. Thick oily coats may require more frequent washing just because they attract and hold more debris and dander. But you can't expect to bathe your dog as frequently as you do. Once or twice a month is a good general rule. Dogs do need to keep their fur clean, but they also need some of their natural oil to protect their skin.
No! It's even good for cats, and everyone knows how much they hate water! We've also had rave reviews from horse owners, and even from a kid with a pet rabbit. As long as your pet has fur, you can wash him with a ShamPaw. But we don't recommend washing hamsters or other tiny animals.
